A little about us.

Parker Gates and Jacob Jones have been scheming together for years. Sometimes in Japan, sometimes in Connecticut, bust mostly in Nashville. Together, we have a combined 30+ years of learning, experiences, making mistakes, and adventures in the world of entrepreneurshiup. 

We designed this course to be the starting place for anyone new to the world of business. It can seem like an overly complicated world, full of gurus and self help experts, shady characters, and endless possibilties. Where you go with it is up to you. You’ll need to listen to your gut, trust your instincts, and mostly accept that you don’t know everything. With Starting Block, we hope to send you on your way with a basic foundation for what to do, what not to do, and how to follow that inner voice in your head. Welcome!
